Sean Casey, M.D. - Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Sean Casey is chief executive officer and chairman of the Virtual Radiologic Board of Directors. He is also one of the co-founders of Virtual Radiologic. An American Board of Radiology-certified radiologist, Dr. Casey is a pioneer in the clinical use of cerebral CT angiography and venography, as well as other 3D post-processing applications. He has received numerous awards from the Radiological Society of North America, the American Society of Neuroradiology and the American Roentgen Ray Society. Prior to co-founding Virtual Radiologic, Dr. Casey was an associate professor, director of Head and Neck Radiology, and director of the neuroradiology fellowship training program at the University of Minnesota.
Since 1998, Dr. Casey has served on the medical advisory board of Vital Images Inc., a provider of 3D visualization applications. He has presented more than 76 abstracts or lectures at radiology conferences and authored or co-authored 31 peer-reviewed articles. He authored the chapter "MR Angiography: Special Reference to the Central Nervous System" in the recent edition of Radiology by Taveras and Ferucci.
An undergraduate of the Johns Hopkins University, Dr. Casey received his doctorate of medicine degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. He served his radiology residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and completed a neuroradiology fellowship at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Dr. Casey holds a CAQ in neuroradiology from the American Board of Radiology and is currently licensed in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.
Rob Kill - President & Chief Operating Officer

Rob Kill is president & chief operating officer of Virtual Radiologic and has more than 20 years of leadership experience.
Most recently, Mr. Kill was president of the Physician Systems business at Misys Healthcare, a Raleigh, N.C.-based developer of healthcare software systems. In this role, he was responsible for a software business serving more than 85,000 physician customers across the United States. While at Misys, Mr. Kill was also president of the company's Physician Enterprise Systems unit and vice president of Sales & Marketing for the company's Transaction Services unit.
Before joining Misys, Mr. Kill was executive vice president of Entertainment Publications, a privately held consumer marketing business. Previously, he spent 10 years with Baxter Healthcare, where he held senior leadership roles in operations, marketing and sales.
Mr. Kill holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Notre Dame.
Len Purkis - Chief Financial Officer

Len Purkis is chief financial officer of Virtual Radiologic, and has extensive experience managing high-growth, technology-enabled companies. Mr. Purkis was recruited out of retirement to join Virtual Radiologic. He previously served as chief financial officer of E*TRADE Financial from 1998 to the end of 2003, overseeing revenue growth from $360 million to $1.5 billion, as well as acquisitions totaling $3 billion.
Mr. Purkis served as chief financial officer of Iomega Corp. from 1995 to 1998. The Zip drive was launched during his tenure, which drove Iomega revenue from $140 million to $1.7 billion. Before joining Iomega, Mr. Purkis spent 12 years in senior management roles with General Electric's Capital, Lighting and Plastics businesses in both the United States and Europe.
Mr. Purkis is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, and became
a U.S. citizen in 2000.
Rick Jennings - Chief Technology Officer

Rick Jennings joined Virtual Radiologic in 2007 as chief technology officer. He has more than 25 years of information technology-related experience and is responsible for managing and enhancing Virtual Radiologic's teleradiology technology platform and infrastructure.
Prior to joining Virtual Radiologic, Mr. Jennings served as president and managing director of Assess IT, a technology management consulting firm providing IT assessment, IT validation and IT security audit services, as well fractional chief technology officer services to a variety of companies. Prior to founding Assess IT, he held numerous management positions including vice president of client solutions for Electronic Data Systems, vice president and general manager (Western Region) for Computer Sciences Corporation, and various roles with General Dynamics managing technology integration, outsourcing, and consulting services to clients in healthcare, aerospace, and energy industries.
Mr. Jennings holds a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, and a master of science degree in management from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business. Additionally, he is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). CISA is the globally accepted standard of achievement for technology management of software development, infrastructure management, information security and IT controls.
Eduard Michel, M.D. - Medical Director

Dr. Eduard Michel is the medical director of Virtual Radiologic and is one of the co-founders of the company. Prior to joining Virtual Radiologic, he was engaged in a private neuroradiology practice in Minneapolis and a clinical assistant professor of radiology at the University of Minnesota.
Dr. Michel has a CAQ in neuroradiology from the American Board of Radiology. He received his bachelor of science and doctor of medicine degrees from the University of Minnesota, where he completed training in diagnostic radiology and neuroradiology.
He has co-authored three book chapters and more than 20 peer-reviewed articles and presented more than 45 scientific seminars at medical conferences around the world.
George Frisch, J.D. - General Counsel and Secretary

George Frisch joined Virtual Radiologic in October 2004 and serves as general counsel and secretary. He is responsible for providing and managing legal services for the company and its affiliated entities relating to their conduct of ordinary business affairs, corporate governance, legal and regulatory compliance requirements, and business transactions. Frisch has extensive experience in the representation of publicly and privately owned businesses.
Mr. Frisch is a licensed attorney and was engaged in the private practice of corporate and securities laws from 1972 until 2001, with a focus on business transactions, product and service distribution arrangements, and financings, including public and private securities offerings on behalf of issuers and underwriters. In 2001, he joined WAM!NET Inc., a global provider of networking and workflow management services for the media and advertising industries, where he served as senior counsel until September 2004.
In addition to his law practice, from 1983 to 1984, Mr. Frisch served as chairman of Minnesota's Metropolitan Waste Control Commission; from 1973 to 1978, he taught securities regulation at the Hamline University School of Law; and from 1970 to 1971, he was employed as Assistant Commissioner of Securities by the Minnesota Department of Commerce.
Mr. Frisch attended the University of Minnesota and received the degrees of bachelor of science and juris doctor, cum laude, from the William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul.
